It's purely hype, get stronger, number go up but it has no true character substance for anyone who isn't the main character. The main character has bare minimum character progression despite that. | @KimgeaR Besides the Evangelion creator being involved and some "what if" alternate timeline dives with the original Gundam story, not much as of yet. The mecha designs for the show can range from good to hideous, and the character designs clash with the original 1 Year War characters like Char. |

| I've always found that the start of the year usually has some pretty mediocre entries but always picks up by summer or fall. That said this season isnt that bad, Sakamoto Days, Solo Leveling, Apothecary Diaries and Dr Stone are four easy lineups that most people probably will enjoy. Then theres whatever isekai/romance anime that will be popular this season and some one off stuff lik the Rose of Versailles movie or potentially the new Mononoke Movie so I think theres enough for the start of the year. |
